"The Belvedere" designed by Scotsman William Watson was opened for play in 1927. Like Augusta National, Scottish resort courses and other courses of the era, "The Belvedere" offers challenging 3 and 4 pars, with 5 pars that reward aggressive play with birdie and eagle opportunities. Enjoy beautiful views amongst contoured fairways, fast paced but fair greens and heather in the deep rough. On 30 occasions, the Belvedere has been the site of the Michigan Amateur Championship. The Championship will return in 2003.
